What is NFC?

NFC, or Near Field Communication, is a cutting-edge technology that allowsĀ for seamless data exchange between compatible devices simply by bringingĀ them close together. With our NFC keychain, you can effortlessly share contactĀ information, link to your social media profiles, website, or custom link with justĀ a tap.

NFC tags work with a wide range of smartphones, including most modernĀ Android and iOS devices. Many flagship smartphones from majorĀ manufacturers such as Samsung, Google, Huawei, OnePlus, Xiaomi, Apple,Ā and others come equipped with NFC capabilities.Ā For Android devices, NFC functionality is commonly integrated into theĀ operating system and is widely supported across various models and brands.

For iOS devices, NFC functionality is available on iPhone models starting fromĀ iPhone 7 and later.

It’s always a good idea to check the specifications of your specificĀ smartphone model to ensure it supports NFC technology.

First you need to program your NFC - download the NFC tools app from theĀ app store (orange one) as below - you will need to select write and then scanĀ the NFC chip, then choose what you want to link to the NFC (URL for website, phone number, email address, social media etc and then follow the steps in theĀ app. there are also YouTube tutorials on how to use this app.

Unlock your phone.

Locate the NFC Antenna: Most smartphones have the NFC antennaĀ located near the top or back of the device. On some models, it may beĀ near the camera.

Wait for Recognition: Once the NFC tag is within range of the phoneĀ antenna, your phone should automatically recognise it.

Interact with Content: Depending on how the NFC tag is programmed,Ā your phone may perform various actions. This could include opening aĀ website, launching an app for eg. When using an Android phone andĀ scanning a Facebook link, select to open via a website browser asĀ opposed to the Facebook app.

Keep in mind that the specific steps may vary slightly depending on your phoneĀ model and its operating system. Additionally, some phones may have NFCĀ scanning settings that you can adjust in the deviceā€˜s settings menu.
